Ed Byrne - Spoiler Alert Film Screening: Churchill The Producers - Newtown Musical Theatre Company Montgomery County Music Festival Andrey Chulovskiy Piano Recital At Gregynog

ED BYRNE - SPOILER ALERT
I originally intended to call the show, “I’ll Millennial You in a Minute”, but my promoter considered the title, “off-puttingly baffling”. That’s my own chainsaw in the photo, by the way.
Is life that bad or have we good reason to complain about it? Are we filled with righteous anger at a world...

FILM SCREENING: CHURCHILL
BRIAN COX MIRANDA RICHARDSON

CHURCHILL follows Britain’s iconic Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the days before the infamous D-Day landings in June 1944. As allied forces stand on the south coast of Britain, poised to invade Nazi-occupied Europe, they await Churchill’s decision on whether the invasion will actually move ahead.

Exhausted by years of war, plagued by depression...

Newtown Musical Theatre Company is delighted to present Mel Brooks’
award-winning smash hit ‘The Producers.’

In 1959, Broadway’s worst producer Max Bialystock schemes with neurotic accountant Leo Bloom to make millions by putting on a play that is guaranteed to flop.

Written by a not-so secret fan of the Third Reich, staged by the most
over-the-top director in history, and financed by...

   CREATIVE LEARNING

Creative Learning Through The Arts    Why not help your school to £1000!

Creative Learning Through The Arts

We believe that our children and young people should have the chance to be inspired and excited by the best that the arts in Wales has to offer. So as part of a major Welsh Government / Arts Council of Wales project, ACW have established a fund to provide children and young people with opportunities to engage with arts and cultural activities as a routine part of their wider learning experience.

Schools are able to apply for small one-off grants of up to £1,000. This can be used to fund visits to high-quality arts events in theatres, arts centres and other venues within Wales.

For more information please visit www.arts.wales/ExperiencingTheArts

Songwriting & Ukulele Music Workshop - October 2017
A Songwriting / Music Workshop took place on Tuesday, 31st October 2017 at Hafren. The workshop was led by musicians Dai Robs and Dylan Penri with eight young carers attending. It was a huge success with the attendees being gifted with a ukulele so that we can revisit the group in a few months to find out how they have got on.
