Our Next Movie Matinee
The Penguin Lessons

Wednesday 28th January, 1pm

The Penguin Lessons is a comedy-drama about Tom (Steve Coogan), an Englishman who awakens personally and politically after rescuing a penguin during Argentina's 1976 military coup. The penguin brings warmth and unity to the boarding school where Tom teaches, inspiring students and staff alike.

Inspired by a true story and the memoir of Tom Michell, the film blends comedy, drama, and heartwarming moments as Tom's own closed-off heart begins to open to the world.

Starring Steve Coogan, Jonathan Pryce, Bruno Blas
